Indian legend has it that once an animals life is taken by a hunter the spirit is released back to the wilderness to be carried in the song of the wind. This would explain why Moosie could not find His moose after the shot as it was a very powerful

moose and needed a bit more time to be released back into the wild. That also explains WHY all that white hair that you see on the moose is in the pictures.Legend also has it that it is part of the process of the soul of the great beast returning to the spirit world. What happened though as Moosie was not able to remove the whole animal from the forest is that the lost spirit of the moose will wonder around the wild till it finds its horns or another MOOSIE.
