FWP investigating after a moose was poached on Sun River WMA

Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks game wardens are investigating the shooting death of a bull moose.

I wish we had some sort of raffle tag every year that if you give tip mont information that they get a conviction on your name goes in it. Give people more motivation to make the call.

Sad to say but if you spend a full day on heavily hunted public you could most likely find a game violation to call in during rifle season at least.

IIRC Utah will give tags to people whose tips lead to convictions for poaching. Might be the best odds out there to get a sheep tag lol
