Plate ‘em up

I have no idea what any of that is but looks dang good.
I need to post the recipe for salmon in Tuscan cream sauce on the recipe thread. Always seems to be a crowd pleaser. Oglio e olio is just thick spaghetti tossed in butter, olive oil, garlic and crushed red pepper. Those were my contributions. My son and his fiancé did the breads, as well as a charcuterie board appetizer. Breads were amazing. My sister did the salad and my daughter and her friends did the cocktails. Way more fun than eating out, and much cheaper.

1995-1997 back when I was younger and still doing Army things, we ran a 3 month long training course where our culmination exercise was in the Mountains of NorthWest GA. We stayed at the Boy Scout camp and cooked our meals. My NCOIC Oglio e olio each trip - that was the first time I had it and it's excellent eats - thanks for the reminder of those days

wild turkey legs cooked in a pressure cooker with onions, couple of jalapenos, a cayenne pepper, some seasonings and broth - then shredded
added some fried corn that had chopped jalapenos, some black beans, Mexican rice
topped with green sauce and sour cream
