My favorite lunch from my school days and one of the only TV dinners I like. That's right Salisbury steak tonight although the homemade kind. Used cowboy Kent Rollins recipe.

I was just telling the boys about TV dinners. Salisbury steak with the cherry pie. Kids today will never know.
I'm pretty sure you can still find them. Child abuse almost but a learning experience too. mtmuley

Went to a restaurant in DC last week that had blue cheese and balsamic glaze topped chips as an appetizer. Pretty tasty so I wanted to make some at home. Didn’t have any chips so I did it with fries instead. Still tasty. As was the black and blue elk burger.
I decided to keep one deer shank whole this year to try a roast. Put it in the crockpot for about 9 hours with carrots and celery. Made some homemade mac and cheese and skillet garlic bread to go with it. Pretty tasty I must say

Pretty much. They're still there, too!
Lunch today was a roast beef (antelope) sandwich. Medium rare, absolutely fantastic.
Dinner last night was venison meatballs, fried then simmered in marinara until they nearly fall apart. Big hit with the fiancé. Good enough we forgot photos.

Split, de-seed, stuff with cream cheese and cheddar cheese with some garlic salt. Freeze, then dip in flour, then milk, then flour again. Deep fry while still frozen.
