This thread is en fuego this week, wow- that smoked mac and cheese and Mongolian venison looks amazing!

I just followed a video recipe from America’s Test Kitchen in YouTube. I made a couple of changes, used a store bought sauce since I couldn’t source all the separate ingredients to make my own.

It was really good! Almost too spicy though but I put it over coconut jasmine rice.

Couple chunks of elk shank meat slow-cooked with onion soup mix and beef broth and sliced onions. Drained, shredded and lightly coated with Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce. Broth saved for some other meal.
