Plate ‘em up

Moose tenderloin for the wife and kids. Smoked it low and then seared on the stove and into the oven to finish (I don’t really use the grill pan but the normal pan was taken by the potatoes). Made a hash to go along with sweet potatoes and russet potatoes. Turned out super tender. Just need a pan sauce next time to bring it all together - fortunately I have a lot more to experiment with!

Store bought pork but I usually use wild hog. I bought this roast to make sausage with but got too busy so threw it into the slow cooker last night with some carnita mix, Rojo grande rub and a little Dr Pepper. Cooked on low all night, shredded this morning and then fried in cast iron this morning for brunch tacos. Very easy, yet delicious meal.
