Plate ‘em up

I shot a younger WT buck on my last deer hunt of the year, and wanted to make a nice meal out of him.

This is ripped straight from the legend himself, Hank Shaw's blueberry-mushroom-onion sauce venison tenderloins with colcannon potatoes on the side. I enjoy making it almost as much as I enjoy eating it.

Leaving tomorrow a week long hunt. So we put on a big meal tonight. Lobster tail with reverse seared sirloin. Seared in bacon grease with loaded mashed potatoes and a bunch of these.

Full disclosure I dipped my steak in the lemon butter and might not make the trip due to a heart attack any minute.
Damn, son! Awesome stuff right there. My invite for your sendoff must have gotten misplaced... :rolleyes:
