Pizza night

Your pizza looks great. Here is mine from the other night with a spicy tomato pesto vodka sauce.

ok front row is goat cheese and mushrooms stuffed boneless snipe with bacon. Middle is venison backstrap pan seared with bacon. Zucchini pan seared also. Washed down with an old hickory old fashioned.

not gourmet by any means, but I enjoy making pizza in the Dutch oven. I like everything on my pizza, but the rest of my family is far more picky.

Not an overly impressive looking plate, but I’ve pretty much quit grilling steaks in favor of searing them in cast iron and topped with garlic brown butter. Especially good for game steaks since they can easily dry out on the grill.

Fiancée hit me with that birthday dinner tonight. Smoked pork loin with super cheesy mac and cheese and a caesar salad. Hog was raised on my brother's in-laws' place about five miles down the road.

I'm washing this delicious surprise down with a kewl Busch latte... later we will get into a box of cupcakes from a nice local bakery and a big jug of whole milk.
