Here are some pics of Bonnie my 8 month GSP pup. This chuckar hunt is on new years day. Snow was deep, which tired us quickly, but the birds were thick wherever it had melted off. This is a mountain range 30 minutes from my house.

Bonnie locked up tight on a covey! Her low crouch says it all, "They are right there!"

Long distance point. The breeze steady, she points a covey over 200 yards away. I know from her body language(open body point) they are a ways out.

After the shot! She loves the retrieve, but hates to give the bird up. We are still working out a few bugs.

I have one more chuckar hunting trip before the season closes.
