Great pictures! It's great that kids get chances like that. I wish my Dad had been a hunter and not just a rifle nut. I still have lots of good memories, though, of hunting rabbits with my Dad.

So tell us more, Chopper - did this pig come out of the swamp, or from one of the water holes? Or from where Dan got his under that oak? Was it a headshot? How long ago did he bag it?

It was in the "Swamp" just below the old barn. I told him to shoot it in the head but he missed by a little. Hit it right thru the spine just behind the shoulder. Had to finish it off with a couple to the head. Pig weighed 93 pounds on my scale. He got it last Saturday.

Congrats Brian!

That will be a good eating pig. That hunt was a blast. I look forward to doing it again. I'm impressed with how well my boar eats. No gamey taste at all. Tastes better than elk in my opinion.
