Pennsylvania Opener

Spotted this guy feeding along a field edge at 250 yards about 10 minutes into the first morning. My first shot was high and he actually turned and ran at an angle towards me and stopped. My second shot was where it needed to be at 220 yards.

Shot my PA buck this morning also. Some neighbors were walking around and they moved this buck right to me. My wife was loading the boys up for daycare, so she came by and we took them down for pictures with him. Small 7-pt rack, but good body size.

Nice coupla bucks gentlemen!

I was out there Mon-Weds & spent too much time enjoying the side of the mountain in spite of friends up top seeing deer. Shoulda gotten a clue after Monday finally switched gears Weds when everyone else did and I saw some nice bucks taken just not mine.

I love Pa deer hunting quite a lot. Beautiful state!!
