Packing Sheds Horseback?

Planning on taking horses into an area for shed hunting. Does anyone have experience stacking/packing sheds in panniers to get them out? It'll be the panniers that go over a regular saddle not the pack saddle style.

We just tie them on with cord and tape them together to keep them from flopping around. You could put the bottom end in a saddle panier also. Electrical tape is your friend.

This is a dream of mine!!! I have extremely limited experience with horses, but my wife and 3 (soon to be 4) year old daughter absolutely love horses and shed hunting. Some day...

I've watched people enviously as they rode by us on horses, panniers overflowing with antler. That's my only experience, haha.
