Not me- a rookie coworker when given the nailgun. But I’ve shot myself probably 4 times in 10 years. I still have dreams where I can feel the “sschhoop” when I pull it out. I work with the pressure washers daily now so the toe tip getting cut off is gnarly…

@CRJR45 how the heck did a screw catch and make it look like a straight up cut?? I’ve heard of guys screwing straight through the hand with air drills but never had one catch sideways just right like that?? And that middle finger?? Gotta watch yo digits!

It wasn't straight like that initially . The nurse opened it up to see if there was ligament damage . Trying to get a self starting screw through the corner bead , the bit had flesh wrapped around it afterwards .
The middle finger was a hatchet job , literally .
 
I put a Philips bit into my thumbnail while installing prehung interior doors. Put the Philips shape right into it. Took the underside of the finger nail about 6 months to clear up.
