We are fortunate to have some really cool species / hunts available here. It’s a DIY hunters paradise with no tags or seasons.

Sika are another species that makes a very cool hunt. I went looking for a mature sika stag last week but only found females and a young stags.

I've only seen 2 bobcats in the wild.

The first one was 50 some years ago when they were still a predator. I was elk hunting, glassing from the top of a cliff and one came out at the bottom. A 180 gr Sierra Gk from my .30-06 hit him a little high and didn't leave much of his head to have mounted.

The only other one that I've seen was crossing the road in front of me, out of season and out of state.
