I was lucky enough to draw Northern Warner unit for Archery Deer. Was wondering if anyone had any insight on this unit. I went scouting a coupe weeks ago and only found one decent buck. Any recommendations would be awesome thanks .

Lots of public land (prob 60-70%) there and some real good bucks but not a lot of numbers. If you're hunting unit #74 look for the edges (public) that border the private ag areas esp. the pivot lines along the Fort Bidwell-Warner Valley Rd through Plush. They are in there but require lots of glassing and a bit of luck to come out of the private. Good luck to you!

Antelope hunted there last year and saw a couple good bucks from the road and out glassing. Not a lot of deer. Look for bitterbrush. PM me and I can try to help out

I haven't hunted that unit in a few years but hit me with a PM. Can be a really fun unit to hunt.
