OnX question

So I messed up…mounted a trail camera and marked the waypoint with my OnX… How did I mess up you ask…
Well, I didn’t center the map before saving it…
I have looked all around for the damn thing but no luck..It is in a deep and steep ravine and I am wore out looking for it…

Any tips??

Aside from dropping the pin correctly, I often take a photo or 3 of the area so I can recognize it better when I come back.

Don’t think you have many options now besides continuing to hike and look.

I have found other folks cameras as they "flashed" me while I was walking out in the dark. Infrared light is subtle, so it has to be quite dark for this to work. And something (you, most likely!) will need to trip the motion detector. You might be able to get on the opposite slope of where you placed it, and have a friend try to trip the flash to go off, so the walker doesn't have to see the flash.

Why can I log in and open up without logging in for days and even weeks ... then suddenly I am required to log in ... but my password, which was written down, then typed in to log in, won't work anymore?????!!!
