Finally on the marsh for the 21/22 season. A balmy 75 for a high today made it a sweat fest. Birds were scarce today only seeing maybe 30 to 35 birds total.

I'll keep this thread going. Took my daughter out with me yesterday to a new spot and found a good number if birds. My usual public land spot is extremely low on bird numbers so far this year. This place was holding teal in numbers, got a greening, young drake wood duck, and the rest bluewing. Seen a few turkeys and deer on the morning to add some spice to our father daughter trip. Dang right it was a good day.

Typically yes. We usually get regular flocks of them rolling in.

tough first phase down here birds are few and far between. Seeing mostly teal over this week. Few greenwings mixed in which are a little uncommon for us. Now for a 9 day break before we go again.

I saw more greening this year. Than I have in the last 5 combined.
