A friend of mine's 15-year-old boy shot a bear in Alaska in June. I just finished making them some summer sausage, which was awesome. He gave me a roast and it went into the crockpot/pressure cooker today. OH MY GOD! That is some of the best meat that I ever ate. We cut the roast with a slotted spoon.

The only problem is that now I have to start looking for a place to shoot bears!

Wife and I have shot several bears through the years . We always injoy the great table fare.
best to get them skinned down and cool them as soon as possible .
