I am going to be hunting unit 11/211 for the first time here in a few weeks or archery elk. I got to make a short trip up there the other day to see what the area looks like but did not have time to get out and scout. I am wondering what water sources the elk have the options to use since it is so dry up there. I saw a lot of dry ponds and was wondering if the elk might be using water troughs for livestock on private lands or what?
