My daughter passed her written last night with a 95 and made it through the field course at 5 degrees F this morn... it was miserable.... Anyhow... she's been coming along for a while now and is excited to get to carry a gun and pull the trig on something...

Hopefully some Turkey pics coming soon!!! My dad lives in Idaho and with their cheap youth sponsored tag deal, I think she may be a dual state hunter this year!!!!

Congrats to your daughter and hope she has a great hunting season. Idaho and Montana your first year hunting = awesome.

Good job. Looks like we'll be seeing a lot more kids with dead critters soon.

Thats the plan... She's #1 this year... she did ask though...."If a bull bigger than the one you killed this year steps out, will I get to shoot it" and I said, "only if you are faster than me"... she was pissed... but I told her that if anything smaller steps out, she gets first crack! Plus... its fairly unlikely that a bigger one will step out...

So how friggin cool is it that for less than $100 she can go to Idaho and hunt with her grandpa for deer and elk!!! That really makes me happy!!!

Great! Mine turns 3 next week and I can't wait to get her out there. The best part is neither can she. Yesterday she looked out the window when it started snowing and got upset because she knew it would be longer before we could go hiking. She is already fascinated with the idea of going bear hunting with me, my wife isn't as keen on the idea but she'll come around.
