NRA Convention

Got into Charlotte for the NRA convention last night. Still trying to figure out how you check two pieces of luggage, they both make it to Charlotte, and one piece doesn't make to the baggage claim. Wonder if they really wanted my clothes that bad?

Troy and I can check 7 bags to the remote places of Alaska, and all pieces arrive in tact, on time. But trying to get two small pieces to NC seems to be a pretty big struggle.

Humidity is not something I will ever get used to. Takes some tough folks to survive in this type of heat and humidity. Already in the 80's with humidity somewhere close to that. Can't wait to be home chasing black bears.

Did see Seacat and the Mystery Ranch gang. Lots of other MT people down here sweltering, so I don't feel alone.

Wish I could make it. I kept the info around for awhile as a reminder to set the time aside since Charlotte is only 4 hours away. Unfortunately between my back going out and traveling for work all last week I can't go. Have a good time and post some pictures.

Welcome to Charlotte! I live 15 miles from the convention but won`t make it. I`ve traveled back to Charlotte from different places, even international and have never had trouble with luggage.

As for humidity. No, you will not get use to it. I`ve lived in this humidity/area for 43 years and I`m still not use to it. Ain`t quit as bad as Orlando! That`s the worse that I have ever seen.

I have been to the last 4 or 5 conventions..... But won't have to work it this year! Wish I could say I am disappointed, but I'm not.... Ill keep an eye on the turkeys and bears back here in MT for you though......

Done with another show. Whew, wanting to get out of this humidity and back into the MT mountains. Got my bear tag, and would love to fill that tag in the coming week, or so.
