A very good friend of mine who lives in the Idaho panhandle tracked this buck this past summer. He has some really good footage of him too, as well as his previous year sheds.

Anyhow, he gave him the blade on opening day deer season.

Details are...
Shot at 43 yds
8x9 5x5 mainframe

According to the B&C Scorer, the bones taped...

184 Gross
180 net non-typ
166.5 typ
and currently will rank
#2 non-typ for the state
#3 typ for the state

Will see how that pans out after the drying period.

Real real nice Buck,I like the double tanged brow tines is Idaho a good place for whitetails ? I only hear about Mulies and Bears.

Awesome buck, and I agree with Kiwi, the split brow tines are a nice touch.

That thing is a Hog!! Hopefully that Gene pool has been well distributed over the past few years....

Kiwi,
That was probabaly the only White Tail in Idaho, and now it is gone. Not much for Elk here any more, the Wolves ate them all. The Mule deer all died last winter, and the bears are struggling.

Nope, no reason for a bunch of out of state guys to come flocking to Idaho....

Great buck! What's the bottled product he's "stumping" for (sorry, couldn't resist the pun) in the second picture? Some sort of scent, I assume?
