NOSLER wants to see your success

Last year North of the Brooks Range Caribou Hunting Rifle Model 70 .264 Win Mag Nosler 130gr AB hands load, that averages .665 inch groups at 100 yards. This Caribou was shot at just under 300 yards and it just fell into its tracks. One & Done View attachment 141939View attachment 141939
Bucket list sort of hunt for me. I’m ate up with elk now and my hunting pards are about to age out of the game, and not interested in boo. At least they love the Wapiti

Here’s a few from me. Looking back, I think I’ve used nosler for every big game animal for at least the last 6-7 years.

2017 Bull. Took 3 270 150gr Partitions through the chest all under 30 yards. All exited

So did you have to quarter that moose up half submerged in water or how did you get him out?
Cut it up right where he fell. Top side was easy, second side was a little more interesting. No way we could move him. He was a big old bull, 64” wide. I had some pulleys and rope to drag him out but there wasn’t a good tree within a 150 yds to use as a anchor. Good news was we didn’t have to pack a single piece of meat of from that bull. Pulled the inflatable canoe up, toss in the quarters as we cut, then paddled across the lake back to camp... 20AF044D-57C2-4703-94DC-4E36F824F912.jpeg

Not the biggest buck in the world, but the first with a bullet I loaded myself. Hunting with my uncle who had taught me how to reload. 30/06, 150 gr Nosler Partition, only bullet used by everyone in my family.

I have shot noslers for years. Taken deer with my .308 and 125grain ballistic tips. I shoot my .223 with ballistic tips as well. My current favorite round to use, is 17 hornet. I load it up with 20grain varmageddon hollow points. Nosler bullets are my go to for years. Great price, and amazing performance. No matter what im after i know my noslers will put it down. No pictures of the deer or coyotes but here is my 17 hornet with varmageddon hollow points. Its a nightmare on fox and Bobcats. Now if only i can get them to put out some 25 and 30 grain hollow points for the 17.

Shot this lone gemsbuck in South Africa last year with my handloaded Partition 165 gr 30-06 using the WWII Springfield that Dad built in 1962. It was coming straight for us at a gallop through acacia brush. I got off the sticks and shot just as she broke into the open 15 yards away. The PH hollered "You hit it!" But she kept coming. All in one smooth motion I reloaded and hit her running by at twelve yards. That shot almost knocked her off her feet. She piled up almost immediately. The racket those horns made in the large jagged rock cobble made me wince. Surprised they didn't get broken. "Great shooting, but maybe you could give the animals a chance to hit the ground [smiling]." I pointed out lodge owner told me gemsbuck are dangerous game. He had a client almost get banged up three years ago by a downed one that got back up. I called both shots: head on into left side of chest and square into same shoulder with second shot. Both hit it in the heart. One bullet was retrieved. The font half above the partition was gone with copper peeled back in a perfect mushroom. Back half was intact. The bullet we retrieved from my wildebeest the day before was almost identical. Into right shoulder at 110 meters and lodged in hide of opposite shoulder. I was amazed the bullet stayed on track going through so much bone and losing so much mass. That scrappy old bull went feet in the air on impact. PH said he'd only ever seen a wildebeest dropped dead in its tracks once before.
