Nosler Lead Free Ballistic Tips

Has anyone tried the 36 gr .224 version? I loaded some up for my .22-250 in a load that should run about 3800 FPS. A friend of mine that owns a machine shop cut one of these bullets in half, and they look to be a jacket filled with little particles of copper. He says they vaporize ground squirrels. Has anyone tried them? I'll see if I can hit a prairie dog with one in a couple weeks.

There pretty cool, not really anything you'd want to use on anything but varmints though. Pretty devastating and will literally disinegrate upon impact.

Ooops = the Noslers are 35 gr. The Barnes Varmint Grenades are 36 gr... I've used the Varmint Grenades on ground squirrels, but just loaded up some Nosler Lead-Free.
