Northern Cali Birds

First off let me intro my self as this is my first time on the site my Name is Jon and i am a Sgt in the US Army Military Police Ive Been to Iraq twice and now i am back home in redding serving a 3 yr stint as a recruiter. I jumped right back in to hunting when i got back but to much of my dismay i found that all of my old Bird(mostly Valley Quail) spots have been sold off by the BLM to private ranches that of course Posted the entire property and built fences. does any one know any good Public land to Bird hunt in FAR northern california
