Nope smokers not allowed

Fair enough. Not all mormons are from the Utah/Southern Idaho stronghold.
They’re taking over the world, which is fascinating to me. I read & listen to a lot of material on it. I’ve many friends who are “members.”

I’m looking forward to quenching my thirst/habit/addiction/dependency/lust for an excellent IPA tonight.

I have a tongue-in-cheek question, bringing this back to mingling substance use with firearms. Harkening back to your comment about a drink after work makes you better able to deal with kids or other annoyances.

Would you prescribe a beer before the hunt as method to relax and be better able to control "buck fever"? A beer before target shooting to calm the nerves? If not, why not? If yes, how is it justifiable?
No. Because that would be like drinking in church. I honestly don't drink when I'm in the woods at all, outside of a glass of wine at the end of the day when backpacking.
I would argue addiction is intrinsically bad from one perspective: It reduces/eliminates rationality.
I would simply disagree that your statement applies universally.
Especially when the substance in question is labeled carcinogenic by WHO.
So is sunlight. Also, Mr. BigMac

important to note that Group 2A means "probable" and mounting mechanistic and epidemiological evidence and re review of such epidemiological evidence continues to weaken that further.

group 1 doesn't carry such uncertainty.

which is why i try to limit those things. i'm sure that monthly to semi monthly big mac will be the death of me, quarter pounders are better anyway ;)

nicotine isn't classified as a carcinogen (i'm sure they could twist the data to say so), but it's definitely not good for you. regardless, lifetime dopamine stimulation comes with neurochemical risks. many reasons i need to be done with it.

I believe the wording on that question is "unlawful user of or addicted to"
Good catch. I should have noticed that. Probably watching too much March Madness. The clarification in bold that they put on the form would certainly imply that if the cannabis was a Rx it would still be illegal. So clear as mud.

“Could the government prohibit an unlawful drug user from possessing a car?”
- Justice Brett Kavanaugh

In oral arguments - Kavanaugh suggested that while the government has a clear interest in preventing unlawful drug users from driving cars, that restriction does not automatically translate to a legal justification for prohibiting them from possessing firearms under the Second Amendment. Im inclined to agree.

Be interesting to see how this falls - cheering on hunter biden getting his gun rights back ☺️
Hunter Biden - your gun rights appear to be restored.

Go forth and frolic in a drug fueled rage with your strange lovers, rejoice in the fact the guns and drugs wont be a crime - simply because they are next to eachother anyway.

May some of you have a better day tomorrow, im sure this is a disappointment to non 2A extremists.

The majority of Americans support legalization of Marijuana. I would venture to guess that the majority of them don't think anyone who casually uses or posesses MJ should have different firearm ownership restrictions.

Governments too. The war on drugs was lost when the pols realized they could tax it if it was legal.

Which makes you wonder.. what's taking the feds so long to get on board? Someone has to help pick up the slack to pay for all the corporate handouts, military industrial complex, and wars for Israel..
