NM Tag refund question

Quick question.... I haven’t applied in NM since they started paying up front (that I can recall). Do they send a refund check or is it a refund to the credit card you used??

Refund to the card you pay with.

I just submitted my application this morning! (first timer here, note the excitement lol)
