New WY NR elk tag fees

I heard that WY was raiseing their NR Elk tag fees to $1000. I didn't see anything on their web-site. Does anyone know the scoop on this??????

I haven't heard anything like that. When I go into the G&F office today I will ask them and see what they say.

I asked about this and no one has heard of it. They did tell me that an increase may or may not happen, but they din't think that any state would jump the NR price 150%.

I am sure it will be there someday, but thankfully it will not be next year. Thanks for the leg work elky.

Thanks Elky for the foot work. It must have been someone confused with another state. I heard the same thing about Utah, but since I may never draw a tag there, I am not too worried about that.
