That's a great billy. Congratulations! Thanks for sharing the story throughout the fall.

Dandy goat! Looks like this past week was perfect timing for the big boys to show up.

Thanks guys! Such a great experience, and what great forum to share it on. Truly an "On Your Own Adventure!" :)

Was a busy holiday season and finish to the General season. Not a huge bull but it will fill the freezer... what a year!!!!

Also taking my Goat to get scored tomorrow at the BnC, I did an unofficial score and it looks promising!

Congratulations on your goat. I took my goat above Rock Lake 2011 and have fond memories of the hunt. Great pics. Are you going to do a full mount? We had a full mount done by Bob Maier Taxidermy in Butte, MT, came out fantastic. MTG

I am going to do a full mount I decided to use Game Trails taxidermy out of Florance. They are super easy to work with and out of all the local guys I thought their work was great. it helped that they had 3 goat mounts in their showroom waiting for me to look. This is what I'm thinking for a Goat mount:

That is a great pedestal mount that you could truly be proud of. We had mine done in a full mount head up climbing. This is the last pose that I saw of him before he came tumbling down the mountain. MTG

Well I finally got my goat scored down at the local BnC headquarters... 45 4/8ths, missed book by 1.5" but I could be more pleased with this unique goat!
