In 2020, the government was direct depositing thousands of dollars into people's checking accounts, the Federal Reserve dropped short term rates to basically 0% and injected trillions of dollars of liquidity into the system. Also of course was a decrease in supply of nearly all goods during covid. Inflation in 2021 and 2022 was going higher no matter who was president. And that's not a criticism or defense for either Trump or Biden, it's just the truth.

Now Trump is begging for lower rates which if enacted, would likely cause inflation to go higher.

I genuinely worry about the number of adult men and women in the next 5 - 10 years that will be 100% convinced of something due to an AI video. The inability to separate reality from everything else, particularly when the "everything else" supports their preexisting opinions is incredibly dangerous. Those that are already easily baited by written text will have no chance with even a relatively convincing video. Who knows how many relationships are going to be irreparably damaged.

AI hallucination are real. I ran into one asking ai to calculate investment option strategies. I knew my options couldn’t create millions of dollars in ten years. It corrected the mistake once I pointed out the obvious error.
