new pup 1st hunt

just got a new jack russell pup 1 day ago lol and took her out to see if she was ok with a little shotgun fire . i live out in the country and have turkeys come into my place all the time
so today they did just that . i grabbed the 28 gauge and the pup and went out to see if i could get a shot. well got up to 20 yrds and set the bead on a nice young tom for the freezer and 1 shot later the new pup was running up to claim her turkey
so i ended up with a turkey and the pup is NOT gun shy lol
