New member, dads deer.

My dad came up for a week and we found him a nice buck. Nothing like seeing it a mile away and crawling to 120 yards from it bedded up, and then having to wait for him to stand

Ya he was the biggest bodied deer either of us have ever taken. Just a brute. He was rutting up a bunch of does.

Nicely done! Headed up that direction this weekend myself. Hoping to chase some rutting deer and pepper a few pheasant along the way. Its funny how many more mule deer you see up in that corner of the state than you did 10-15 years ago.

Well we didnt get him around home here, a ways west of here. But ya, good numbers of deer in the NE corner.

Grouse and hun numbers are doing great this year, recommend hunting a few of those too. Shouldnt have any problem with pheasnats up this way. Good luck with your hunt.
