If you think it is only "Boomers" are complaining about that trash can of a set of laws you are SERIOUSLY out of touch with reality. Per Nick87......I'm no boomer either. BTW, the info in that article shouldn't be a surprise as Daley's side of the aisle has had a loooooong history of racism.Good read. Apparently the backstory of the FOID had a good sprinkle of racism and youth protests, which is ironic given its old boomers complaining about it now.

Now thats irony.
That article shows that gun violence in Chicago goes back a long way, and hasn't gotten any better even with all of the laws put upon the state. Once again, more laws won't do anything regarding lowering crime rates. If you haven't heard by now, criminals don't care about laws. Enforcement and truth in sentencing would be a great start.
