New from GA, soon to be a Texan

Hey guys,
Just joined here, originally from low country of SC, been in Atlanta for 18 years. Moving to Texas in July so another adventure begins. Been hunting elk DIY in Colorado for last 10 years with antelope mixed in too. Hunted goats in Wyoming and South Dakota. Hunt whitetails wherever I can too. Hunting out west is my Graceland.

Welcome aboard, nice to see a Geechee on the forum. I believe there are or were a couple of guys on here from the upstate as well. I have cousins scattered all through there; Goose Creek, Monck's Corner and on down to Savannah.

My wife's family is from Cornelia, but now in Athens. I've hunted there some. Would love to try the Cohutta wilderness both for fishing and hunting.

I lived in goose creek when I was a boy, lived in Mt Pleasant till 97, moved to Atlanta. Never been to Cohutta always wanted too but found deer closers to home.
