New from an Island in the Pacific North of the 49th

My name is John. I live on Vancouver Island, part of the Province of BC.
I am a Hunter/Fisherman.
I hunt Whitetail, Mule & Blacktail deer, Elk, Moose, Black Bear, Coyotes, Cougars and Wolves,
I freshwater and saltwater fish.
I have been following many of the YouTube clips from Randy Newberg & Elk 101.
I have gleaned many tips for hunting from each.

I don't readily hunt Roosevelt Elk here on the island as they are all on Limited Entry Hunting draws. I hunt Black Bear, Black tail and Wolves on the island. I travel to the mainland for other species.
