New Cabelas in Boise

Anyone go yet ?

I missed the contractors thing. Then I missed the Credit card holder thing... But I made it today. Funny thing was It was ...Well OK. I expected it to be alot worse then it was. I'm still saying it's a Crappy location and not enough parking and it's the Smallest store they have.

Also, I didn't need anything in it. I had to try hard to Spend some Coins in there. It's either a Great spot to be or a Chitty one, I haven't figures it out yet

The cool thing is the 2 Rams on the Top of the Mountain are my Buddies dads. He's pretty sure. He sold then to Cabelas Little While back. He;s going to find out for sure.

Anyone else go and Buy anything random ?

Maybe I will go in next week. It's not like it's going anywhere overnight. I figured the first weekend would get hit hard then people can simply say "been there, done that" and move on. I can't think of anything I actually need but will spend some time in there looking at the mounts and what not. It is nice t know there is a Cabelas here in Boise even if it is small and parking sucks hind tit!

I didn't make it yet either, but I'll have to do an early am one day next week, not like I've got a bunch to buy...other than that, and that, and that, and that...anyways moosie, I've got a job change on the way, maybe I can catch up with you for that lunch.

I went twice on Friday, just to take the kids. The store was a bit crowded, but the checkout lines weren't bad. Bought $20 worth of little stuff that we didn't really need.

Funny thing was, with all the people in there, everybody was smiling, and the parking lot reminded me of DisneyLand with all the happy people walking around...

I bought a fishing rod when they opened one near here. Its got a lifetime waurantee, no matter why, I can take it back and get a new one, they said, anytime, for any reason.

There was a 200+ whitetail in the display room here. I started to read that plaque and then couldn't take it anymore. A little kid shot it with a 30-30 on a meat hunt in New Mexico when his grandpa took him out. I don't think I've ever seen a 200+ whitetail live.
