Don't really know how I will make the trips for my elk and deer hunts though. I guess I will fly into Vegas and hit the casinos first to aid my travel budget. Like Lloyd Christmas said, "So you're tellin' me there's a chance. YEAH!!!!"

Took it down to the wire, and then tried to add my son. Since he doesn't have a NV hunter Ed I needed to email them an image of it and then wait for approval.

I figured I was SOL with him, but they responded in 5 minutes saying his account was updated. Well done NV, well done.

News Flash - This thread is about Nevada, not Utah.

Again. My post contains no complaints, no mention of draw odds, no dissuasions, nothing about point systems, and not even a mention of any deadlines. Anyone who applies for anything is already getting emails from the state AND text notifications from HF, goHunt, Rolling Bones, etc, etc, etc.

But hey, why let the facts get in the way if you’re hell bent on promoting a false narrative?

It seems you are looking for a scapegoat to take out your tag frustration on, plain and simple. Same as the guys who start a new thread every week on ideas to fix state lottery systems. It’s a bad look, dude. You do yourself no favors.

There are like a gazillion cyber-multimedia sources & celebrities doing professional productions on “apply, apply, apply” and you somehow find a way to blame a nobody from Indiana for your frustration? Really? I think Randy reaches a few more folks than me, yet I never see you rag on him! What up with that!? As mentioned, it’s a really bad look. And truly delusional.

Now please excuse me. I just got a couple hours to find some bonus deer & pronghorn hunts that fit around or with my existing 3 hunt time periods. As always, wishing you the best of luck in both Utah & Nevada. Hope this is your year to draw them, especially since I don't need either.

But after reviewing all the better Nevada deer & pronghorn hunts, I could not find any that overlapped or went around my existing 3 tags well, so I had to put in for points only. Got a mulie buck tag in NE Nevada. Only issue is that the deer are REMOTE and VERY HIGH, making it very difficult and for a party of one to get one out solo. I'm talking 10 miles in and 10K elevation. Can't seem to find anyone interested to go along and help out either. Sure would be great if I could find an adventuresome person interested in such an endeavor.
