An old hunting buddy always carried a " cheap" set in the pickup. He paid around $1800.00 for them. He always complained that his GOOD ones weren't any better.
My CHEAP ones were around 75 bucks. They are also my good ones.

My Leupold Bx-2 and Bx-4’s seem to do the trick. As do my parent’s Crossfire HD’s and a buddies Diamondback HD’s. Really, they're all pretty decent, just comes down to how long you'll continuously be looking through them.

Buy Vortex off Craigslist in any condition, the worse the better. Immediately send them in for repair.
