Nebraska public land mule deer

Hello everyone I am looking to plan a mule deer hunt with a rifle on public land in Nebraska. I was thinking about the sand hill unit or by the wildcat hills area but I was wondering if anyone else had any comment for a good unit with public land. I know public land in Nebraska for mule deer in highly pressured but i was wondering anyone had any tips on how i can tackle this or if anyone had stories that they are willing to share. Any information would be helpful.

Why don't you go try it DIY and post up your story?
Or just hire a guide.
Maybe check it and research it say on a pheasant hunt?

A group of 7 went from Pa this year and all tagged out.They got one big muley,small muley and the rest were very nice whitetails.They hunted diy on public.I read their hunt recap on another site,but think you'd do well if you can get away from the crowds.I've been thinking of taking my son for years.I'd say give it a shot and worst case is you learn a lot for a future hunt there
