Sorry about the poor quality, but whatever this thing is was moving at the edge of the effective flash range, and I've done my best to clean up the shot. It is moving from right to left at the edge of the mid-ground.

The camera is placed in a sage and grass covered draw between two heavily timbered ridges at about 7,500' if that helps. I think it kind of looks like a fox, but I've never come across a fox in that kind of habitat before. Maybe it's a fisher or marten or something like that--I really don't know.

I would guess fox. I have seen foxes in some of the craziest places in this state. From inside houses to 10,000 foot rock outcroppings.

Easy, That the great North American Gilly. You know the critter they skin to make Gilly Suits.. That's why it's so hard to see.

Idk. Porky martin I took one of a black bear a couple evenings ago it turned out like that too. Not enough light left and to far for flash. I could tell what it was, but no one else could.

Tell me about it. The camera is set to take a three picture burst, so when you scroll through the burst in picasa quick enough it's almost like a movie because you can see what is different from frame to frame. That's the only reason I was able to spot it.

a Duck ? Maybe, a Duck in the desert hiding behind a cactus, that looks like a Rag-Horn standing behind it ????? No ! No ! It's a Naked Chick, in the desert, hiding behind a cactus, looking like a Rag-Horn standing behind it, trying to pretend to be a Duck !
