My mom and I did really well yesterday. Lots of nice 24-26” walleyes. Definitely a special day, I’m never sure how many more times I’ll get to take my mom fishing.

Very cool! Time runs out quick when you finally realize the clock is ticking... My dad had open heart surgery 2 days ago and I was talking to him yesterday, trying to figure out if we can do a 3rd rifle deer hunt maybe. He was asking about cost and I told him "Turns out they're free if you just had your chest split open...Crazy huh!?".

Northwoods - Great fish and the best of times. I took my mother to Northern Quebec a few years after my father passed away (at age 55). She landed a 23 lb .lake trout on light spinning gear !
