Hey all , I've been thinking about doing this thread for fun, for about 6 months now , and since I'm off tomorrow I pulled the trigger so to speak. Since it's the off season and we're all thinking and planing and dreaming about our next hunts , I walked a block down the street to our town tavern in Banks Oregon , at the foothills of the coast range , we only got one tavern ! And take some pics and share what I get to stare at while I have a pint ! Since I've never met a hunter, regardless of skill and experience that dosent enjoy looking at horns and dead stuff , I choose to post these for all to enjoy.

Great idea for a thread. Looks like you have a nice place to grab a cold one and hang out.

I live out in the sticks so there's no saloons within a 1/2 hour and some of them aren't worth going to. I kinda like this one, it's about an hour and half away but there's good fishing there so I get there once and awhile. It's called Fosters Bighorn and it's world famous for the taxidermy, all killed by Bill Foster prior to 1953. Many of the heads there are near the top of several categories in Boone & Crockett. Fascinating place.

PS: I win. :)
