I shot these on a primitive weapons hunt here in SC. Both shot at about 50 yds about an hour apart. Remington 700 ML, Barnes TEZ over Triple 7 In 2 days of hunting I saw 20-25 hogs. I could have shot more, but was holding out for a nice buck I had seen while scouting 71890146289__2B57BE83-6A71-42ED-8E72-694EAB9519A6.jpeg

Primitive weapon , a scoped in-line?
Just asking.
In Sask we have muzzle
Loader season where we can use any muzzle loader but crossbows aren’t classified as archery so they can’t be used till muzzle loader season too.

The inline muzzleloader was invented in the 1980s which makes it the most modern weapon we have for hunting, but it can be used in some states primitive weapon season.

Go figure.

SC is pretty liberal with its hunting regs. We actually don’t have a muzzleloader season in the lower half of the state. A few state and federal areas have “primitive weapons hunts”.
