Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to set up multiple species goose spreads. Do you mix them in together or do you keep them relatively separate? Do I have more of one species over the other?

Where I hunt we see all of the geese species from the big ol' Canada honkers to lessers, specks, and of course snow geese. Our hunt will be, most of the time, be over a field but we will do a little bit of water before they freeze over. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

Depending on time of year but late season I think your big white snow decoys attract birds. We’ve always set our Canada decoys where we wanted them to finish. Canada usually land with the Canada decoys or outside edge of the snows it seems. When it comes to duck we would put a few decoys out but can kill them just as well over goose decoys. Leave those flapper or mojo decoys at home set a good spread and let them finish in your face.
