I love how they talk about hunter opportunity and use the henries and paus as an example of success....

Aside from this organization, I would be willing to not hunt for a few years to allow some growth to occur as it would be exponential. However, at the same time, I would be for some massive funding to get people out to these same areas to do some serious predator hunting, maybe in the form of tournaments. Here in the Black Hills, coyotes, mountain lions and wolves (several sightings, one shot last month, even though the game and fish is calling it a "hybrid"). I am no expert but I do feel that predators play a larger role than most think. I've always felt that for the most part, human presence has benefited the population more than harmed it in the last 10-20 years. You can't just put up a food plot and expect deer numbers to increase in that area. It needs to be managed from many different angles.

I need some listerine to wash the taste of vomit from my mouth. Notice how the first thing said in both the 'hunter testimonials' was "I'd be willing to go without hunting opportunity to fix it". Seems like they are trying to make it feel like the norm to not have opportunity...which I guess for most it is, with the ongoing tag grabs. I'm surprised I was the first person to hit 'dislike' ?? I stopped short of commenting.

Invention of the coyote is the biggest recruiting tool that SFW has....

If coyotes are so terrible to those guys, I'd like to know the combined number of days they've spent hunting them and how many they've killed. I bet both numbers are small.
