Dang it, was hoping the Wednesday the following week was going to be the usual after the last two years.

Year number 48 in a row for me for moose and sheep with no tags drawn in Montana. Maybe this year in a few days when the draw takes place! Drew a goat tag after 33 years of applying but the goat numbers tanked in the Bitterroots. Saw one goat before season opened and hunted into November and never saw another goat. Still had a great time hunting with 98% of it being by myself.

At 80 this year and with 25 points for each species I had those same thoughts, but went ahead and applied at least one more time.

26 sheep points does not give me much confidence. Always look forward to the results though. Good luck to all.

There's always a chance. Kids draw with 0 points all the time. I drew moose with 12 points.

I don’t remember my exact amount of points, but I drew a sheep and moose tag in consecutive years back in 2008/2009. I think it was 3 and 4 points. Odds were better then, but still very low. There’s always a chance! Please don’t hate me.
