MT Little Belts

Aside from Highway 89 running right through the middle, how are the roads in the Little Belts? Specifically anything labeled as a NF or spur road? Are they reasonably passable with 4WD? Rocky/rutty? I'm hoping to get up there at some point this summer to scout and want to be prepared.

There are roads everywhere in varying levels of conditions...all will be traveled by someone throughout the season

A utv/4-wheeler would be helpful, but there are a lot of improved FS roads. Good hunting over there. I spend half of my days hunting region 4 in the rifle season. Good luck

Gota get a Wheel use map form the Forest service. It lists all the drivable roads and what you can drive on them,
Dates and such .
