What we do casually call "the Domes" took a beating in our last storm. The observatory is about 8 air miles from us. It has the Cal Fire lookout and our ONLY cell tower that will reach us. Hamilton has always created a rain shadow for us and now I guess it took the brunt of the winds. Our high hit around 60 mph at night. PGE went out for 24 hours as well as did our ONLY communication Verizon cell tower. (Verizon went down because Verizon is too stupid to realize that the generator needs fuel) . Besides all that, The Domes really took hit.

Wow, that sounds rough. Losing power and your only cell tower at the same time is no joke especially in a storm like that. Hopefully the damage to the Domes isn’t too severe and everything gets restored quickly
