So due to the weather this weekend my bear hunting spots were packed with snow...bummer. So, I have never hunted Fall bears, and I know it is different. Any advice would be appreciated!!
 
If you are in the western part of the state, I would look for high elevation huckleberry patches in september.

Looks like I'm going to be saving my tag for this fall as well. I was milliseconds away from killing an average bear at five yards on Tuesday. When you have your scope on 9 power and a black bear is trotting towards you its hard to get a good bead on him. The saga continues.
