Opening Day MT Grouse

We rode our horse and mule into the mountains up Gallatin Canyon and ran into a covey of grouse. Our black lab goes on point; I jump off my horse and pull my shotgun from the scabbard while Diane holds her mule and my horse. I made lucky shot on one before it got away.



Here is a pic of Bart on point over a quail the last week of August.
